Congratulations to Wayne Thornton on the renaming of Grandview Senior Center to Wayne Thornton Community Center at Grandview, in a ceremony attended by El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser, members of the Junior League of El Paso, City Representative Alexandra Annello, and many other friends and special guests. Thornton spent 43 years with the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department and retired in 2020.
